Pathways to Possibility Summer Enrichment Program

Empowering Youth Through Career and College Readiness

Carter Training and Development Services offers an inclusive summer camp experience designed for students with disabilities aged 14-22. Our Pathways to Possibility Camp program provides three specialized curriculum tracks to help students build confidence, gain independence, and plan for a successful future.

All camps are held at Morgan's Multi-Assistance Center, located at 5210 Thousand Oaks Dr, San Antonio, TX 78233.

Pathways to Possibility Camp: Foundational - June 8-12

This one-week summer enrichment camp, hosted by Carter Training and Development Services from June 8–12, 2026, is a foundational workplace readiness program tailored for students with disabilities aged 14–22 who require ongoing support transitioning into adulthood. Held daily from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM at Morgan's Multi-Assistance Center in San Antonio, Texas, the program utilizes structured instruction, repetition, visual aids, and hands-on activities to teach essential professional and life skills. Participants will practice communication, teamwork, task completion, time management, and self-advocacy, with a core focus on building independence and establishing daily living routines necessary for success in structured work and community settings.

Pathways to Possibility Camp: Career Level - June 15-19

This one-week summer enrichment camp, hosted by Carter Training and Development Services from June 15–19, 2026, is a career-level program focused on preparing students with disabilities aged 14–22 for competitive employment. Held daily from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM at Morgan's Multi-Assistance Center in San Antonio, Texas, the program is designed for students preparing to enter the workforce after graduation. Through structured Work-Based Learning Experiences (WBLE), instruction emphasizes real-world application, professional communication, workplace behavior, teamwork, and accountability. Participants will engage in activities like elevator speech development, problem-solving in real work settings, time management, and guided reflection to build the confidence and skills necessary to successfully transition into the workforce.

Pathways to Possibility Camp: College-Level - July 22-25

Held daily from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM at Morgan's Multi-Assistance Center in San Antonio, Texas, the track is specifically designed for students planning to pursue college, trade school, or transition programs after graduation. Instruction emphasizes academic readiness, self-advocacy in higher education, and independent learning skills. Participants will explore admissions processes, campus expectations, financial aid, and disability accommodations, while practicing essential skills like time management, campus navigation, and goal setting to ensure a successful transition into postsecondary systems.
